Paryavaran Resource Centre
Paryavaran Resource Centre (PRC) is a non-profit development organization established in 2003 with a mission to promote sustainable rural development, environmental conservation, water security, and community empowerment. Based in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra, PRC works closely with government departments, local institutions, donor agencies, and rural communities to improve livelihoods through sustainable natural resource management.

OUR WORK
What we do
Paryavaran Resource Centre works with rural and vulnerable communities through an integrated approach that connects people, water, land, agriculture and natural resources. Our work brings together technical expertise, community participation and local planning to address water scarcity, land degradation, agricultural challenges and livelihood concerns. Through this integrated approach, we work towards stronger communities, healthier natural resources and more sustainable rural development.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER & CEO
The year 2025-26 marked another significant milestone in our journey towards creating resilient communities and sustainable ecosystems. Through collaborative efforts with local communities, government departments, technical institutions and development partners, we have continued to strengthen our commitment to environmental sustainability and social transformation.
Our work during the year focused on addressing some of the most pressing challenges faced by rural communities, including water scarcity, environmental degradation, livelihood insecurity and institutional capacity gaps. We believe that sustainable development can only be achieved when communities become active participants in planning, implementation and monitoring processes.
The achievements presented in this report reflect the collective efforts of our staff, volunteers, community leaders, government partners, donors and beneficiaries. We remain grateful for their unwavering support and trust.
As we move forward, PRC remains committed to scaling impactful interventions, fostering innovation, strengthening partnerships and contributing meaningfully towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We sincerely thank all our stakeholders for being part of this transformative journey.
