Atal Bhujal Yojana (Atal Jal)

Overview

As District Implementation Partner (DIP-05) under Atal Bhujal Yojana, Paryavaran Resource Centre supports community-led groundwater management in Nashik District. The project covers Nashik, Sinnar and Deola — 131 villages — with a focus on local institutions, efficient water use and participatory groundwater management. Paryavaran works with Gram Panchayats, farmers, women and community groups through mobilisation, capacity building, water budgeting and Water Security Planning, together with IEC, data collection, field support and coordination with government departments.
