Overview

Under Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan 2.0, Paryavaran Resource Centre undertakes third-party evaluation of completed water conservation works implemented under the Special Fund and Convergence components. The evaluation covers 6 districts and 27 talukas. As an independent agency, Paryavaran inspects works, checks records and geo-tags, assesses quality and usefulness, identifies deficiencies, and prepares work-wise, village-wise, taluka-wise and district-wise findings.

Objective

An independent, evidence-based assessment that completed works are technically sound, functional, useful to the community, and aligned with water conservation.

Pune — 7 talukas

Daund, Indapur, Baramati, Mulshi, Purandar, Velhe and Bhor. Client: Soil and Water Conservation Department, Pune. Ongoing evaluation of works under the convergence and special fund components.

Jalna — 2 talukas

Ahilyanagar — 2 talukas

Nashik — 4 talukas

Nashik, Peth, Sinnar and Dindori. Included in the six-district, 27-taluka evaluation.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar — 8 talukas

Khultabad, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Gangapur, Paithan, Vaijapur, Kannad, Sillod and Soygaon. Client: Soil and Water Conservation Department, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Washim — 2 talukas

Risod and Washim. Client: Soil and Water Conservation Department, Washim. Field-based evaluation of completed works under the specified programme components.
